International mobility

Student mobility

FILCOM offers its students the opportunity to spend a period of study or internship at a foreign academic or professional institution. The two main mobility programs for University students are the Erasmus + Programme and the Overseas Programme, respectively devoted to European and extra-European mobility. For an updated interactive map of all possible exchange destinations available for students of the Department, see the Map of international FILCOM collaborations.

PhD students can apply for mobility funding as well through the “Marco Polo” call.

Further information about the mobility opportunities for UniBo students are provided on the University website: see “Studying abroad” and “Internships abroad”. Please visit the University page “Bandi gare e concorsi”.

For an overview of all possible agreements and international collaborations of the FILCOM Department, visit the “Agreements and Collaborations” page. Incoming students can find all the information necessary for their stay at the University of Bologna on the University page “Incoming exchange students”.

Incoming and Outgoing staff mobility

FILCOM has been actively promoting both incoming mobility (e.g. Visiting Professors, Visiting PhDs and Post-Docs), by fostering participation to conferences, seminars and lectures by foreign guests, and outgoing staff mobility for short research periods abroad.

Every year the Department makes a Visiting Professors call which is aimed at hosting eminent International scholars for one/two months, who will interact with FILCOM teaching staff, cooperate with current research projects, and present their own research work in open departmental seminars.
